     Ada Harriette Drury Curtis was born on 16 December 1918.¹ She is the daughter of Francis Augustus Drury Curtis and Gwendolen Angelo Taylour English.² She married John Bernard Scowcroft, son of Bernard Scowcroft, on 23 August 1958.¹
     From 23 August 1958, her married name became Scowcroft.

     Bernard Scowcroft lived at Waroonah, Western Australia, Australia^G.¹ He lived at King’s Sterndale, Buxton, Derbyshire, England^G.¹

     John Bernard Scowcroft was the son of Bernard Scowcroft.² He married Ada Harriette Drury Curtis, daughter of Francis Augustus Drury Curtis and Gwendolen Angelo Taylour English, on 23 August 1958.¹ He died in 1989.¹
     He was Chief Engineer with the Merchant Navy.¹

     Sarah Jane Scowcroft was born on 23 June 1960.¹ She is the daughter of John Bernard Scowcroft and Ada Harriette Drury Curtis.²

     Ada Arabella Drury Curtis was born on 18 August 1894.¹ She was the daughter of Rear-Admiral Arthur Cecil Curtis and Arabella Augusta Drury.² She married Reverend Thomas Hartley Jackson on 30 April 1924.¹ She died on 19 May 1961 at age 66.¹
     From 30 April 1924, her married name became Jackson.

     Reverend Thomas Hartley Jackson married Ada Arabella Drury Curtis, daughter of Rear-Admiral Arthur Cecil Curtis and Arabella Augusta Drury, on 30 April 1924.¹ He died in 1964.²
     He gained the rank of Honorary Chaplain of the Forces.¹ He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Ernest Henry Curtis was born on 12 April 1842.¹ He was the son of George Lear Curtis and Augusta Elizabeth Cotton.² He married Emily Thurby, daughter of Reverend M. W. F. Thurby, on 30 March 1875.¹ He died on 15 August 1924 at age 82.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Bengal Cavalry.¹

     Reverend M. W. F. Thurby was the Rector at Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Emily Thurby was the daughter of Reverend M. W. F. Thurby.² She married Ernest Henry Curtis, son of George Lear Curtis and Augusta Elizabeth Cotton, on 30 March 1875.¹ She died on 11 December 1920.¹
     From 30 March 1875, her married name became Curtis.
