     He was given the name of Henry Tichborne Davenport at birth.^1,2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for South Staffordshire.¹ On 12 November 1890 his name was legally changed to Henry Tichborne Hinckes.² He lived at Longport Hall, Staffordshire, England^G.¹

     Madeline Harriet Louisa Curtis was born before 1843.² She was the daughter of Sir William Curtis, 3rd Bt. and Georgina Maria Stratton.³ She married Colonel William Charles Chester Master, son of Lt.-Col. William Chester Master, on 23 February 1861.¹ She died in 1889, leaving issue.¹
     From 23 February 1861, her married name became Master.

     Captain Henry Brierley is the son of J. W. Brierley.¹ He married Bettine Ariana Curtis, daughter of Sir William Michael Curtis, 4th Bt. and Georgina Mary Howard, on 22 October 1931.¹
     He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Colonel William Charles Chester Master was born on 6 November 1821.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Chester Master.³ He married Madeline Harriet Louisa Curtis, daughter of Sir William Curtis, 3rd Bt. and Georgina Maria Stratton, on 23 February 1861.¹ He died on 19 March 1913 at age 91 at West Hill Lodge, Brookwood, Woking, Surrey, England.^1,2
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the 5th Fusiliers.¹

     George Lear Curtis was born on 15 September 1805.¹ He was the son of Sir William Curtis, 2nd Bt. and Mary Anne Lear.² He married Augusta Elizabeth Cotton, daughter of Charles B. Cotton, on 21 January 1832.¹ He died on 11 October 1853 at age 48.¹

     Augusta Elizabeth Cotton was the daughter of Charles B. Cotton.² She married George Lear Curtis, son of Sir William Curtis, 2nd Bt. and Mary Anne Lear, on 21 January 1832.¹ She died in 1895.¹
     She lived at Kingsgate, Kent, England^G.¹ From 21 January 1832, her married name became Curtis.

     William Cotton Curtis was born on 20 June 1834.¹ He was the son of George Lear Curtis and Augusta Elizabeth Cotton.² He married Caroline Louisa Thornewill, daughter of Edward Thornewill and Mary Pearson, on 14 July 1859.¹ He died on 6 October 1905 at age 71.¹

     Walter Hildebrand Alington is the son of Julius Alington.

     Caroline Louisa Thornewill was born in 1837 at Park Hill, Egginton, Derbyshire, England.² She was the daughter of Edward Thornewill and Mary Pearson.^3,2 She married William Cotton Curtis, son of George Lear Curtis and Augusta Elizabeth Cotton, on 14 July 1859.¹ She died on 11 March 1903.¹
     From 14 July 1859, her married name became Curtis.
