Stella Maria Glyn Wynn, daughter of Thomas John Wynn, 5th Baron Newborough and Vera Evelyn Mary Montagu, on 23 October 1942.3 He and Hon. Stella Maria Glyn Wynn were divorced in 1963.3 He married, secondly, Eleanor Mary Boyle, daughter of Captain George Frederick Boyle and Mary Jeffrey Mackie, in 1963.1 He died on 6 March 2002.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Scots Guards.1 Lt.-Col. Richard Derek Cardiff usually went by his middle name of Derek.1
