     Mary McKeage was born on 10 November 1867 at IrelandG.1 She was the daughter of James McKeage and Rose McDowell. She married Bernard Fountaine in 1892 at The Beach Farm, Lowcliffe, Canterbury, New ZealandG.1 She died on 23 July 1958 at age 90 at Ashburton, New ZealandG.1,2 She was buried at Hinds Cemetery, Hinds, Canterbury, New ZealandG.2
     James, George, Mary, Sarah, Letitia, William, Margaret and Rose immigrated with his parents to New ZealandG, arriving 1881 or 1882.1 From 1892, her married name became Fountaine.1
