     John Blennerhassett was the son of Sir Thomas Blennerhassett and Margaret Braham.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Cornwallis, daughter of Sir John Cornwallis.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Echingham, daughter of Sir Edward Echingham, in 1523.¹
     He was Freeman and Steward of Norwich, when he donated two silver-gilt tazza cups bearing his arms to Corpn in 1562.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Norwich in 1571.¹ He lived at Barsham, Beccles, Suffolk, England^G,¹, at Boyland Hall, Long Stratton, Norfolk, England^G,¹ and at Frenze, Depwade, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Cornwallis was the daughter of Sir John Cornwallis.¹ She married John Blennerhassett, son of Sir Thomas Blennerhassett and Margaret Braham.¹
     Her married name became Blennerhassett.¹

     Professor James Norris married Rev. Dr. Julie Norris.¹

     Elizabeth Blennerhassett was born in 1537.² She was the daughter of John Blennerhassett and Elizabeth Cornwallis.¹ She married Lionel Throckmorton, son of Simon Throckmorton and Anne Lowthe, on 29 June 1561.^1,2 She died in 1608.²
     From 29 June 1561, her married name became Throckmorton.¹

     Lionel Throckmorton was born in 1525.² He was the son of Simon Throckmorton and Anne Lowthe.² He married Elizabeth Blennerhassett, daughter of John Blennerhassett and Elizabeth Cornwallis, on 29 June 1561.^1,2 He died in 1599.²
     He lived at South Elman, Sybton, Suffolk, England^G.¹ He lived at Bungay, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Mary Echingham was the daughter of Sir Edward Echingham.¹ She married John Blennerhassett, son of Sir Thomas Blennerhassett and Margaret Braham, in 1523.¹
     From 1523, her married name became Blennerhassett.¹

     Sir Edward Echingham lived at Barsham, Beccles, Suffolk, England^G.¹

     Thomas Blennerhassett was the son of John Blennerhassett and Mary Echingham.¹
     He was living in 1597.¹ He was said by Suckling to have died without issue in May 1599, but said by Norris to have married and had issue.¹
