     Katharine Anne Doughty Bruce was born on 12 May 1921.¹ She is the daughter of Lewis Bruce and Anne Margaret Macdonald Ranken.^2,1 She married Sidney John Doe, son of Sidney Doe, on 12 July 1971.¹
     She was educated at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, England^G.¹ She was registered as a Associate, Royal College of Music (A.R.C.M.) in 1949.¹ She was a piano teacher.¹ From 12 July 1971, her married name became Doe. She lived in 2003 at Coriander Cottage, 1 Deer Park View, Odiham, Hook, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Sidney John Doe was the son of Sidney Doe.² He married Katharine Anne Doughty Bruce, daughter of Lewis Bruce and Anne Margaret Macdonald Ranken, on 12 July 1971.¹ He died on 20 April 1993.¹

     Marion Spencer Wallace is the daughter of Moses Wallace.³ She married Charles Hill, Baron Hill of Luton, son of Charles Hill and Florence Matilda Cook, in 1931.¹
     From 1931, her married name became Hill.¹ After her marriage, Marion Spencer Wallace was styled as Baroness Hill of Luton on 13 June 1963.
