Sir Christopher Wymondham Raynor Herbert Cook, 5th Bt. was born on 24 March 1938.1 He is the son of Sir Francis Ferdinand Maurice Cook, 4th Bt. and Joan Loraine Case.2 He married, firstly, Malina Gunasekera, daughter of Aster Gunasekera, in 1958.1 He and Malina Gunasekera were divorced in 1975.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Murray, daughter of John Murray, in 1975.1
He was educated at King’s, Canterbury, Kent, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Air Force.1 He succeeded as the 4° Visconde de Monserrate [Portugal] on 12 September 1978.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Cook, of Doughty House, Richmond, Surrey [U.K., 1886] on 12 September 1978.1 He was a director of Diamond Guarantees between 1980 and 1991.1 He lived in 2003 at La Fosse Equierre, Bouillon Road, St. Andrews, Guernsey, Channel IslandsG.1
