     Newdigate Poyntz was baptised on 17 August 1715.¹ He was the son of Robert Poyntz and Sarah Taverner.² He married Elizabeth Castleton, daughter of Nathaniel Castleton, on 20 September 1743.¹ He died on 7 November 1772 at age 57.¹

     Elizabeth Castleton was the daughter of Nathaniel Castleton.¹ She married Newdigate Poyntz, son of Robert Poyntz and Sarah Taverner, on 20 September 1743.¹ She died on 12 October 1772.¹
     From 20 September 1743, her married name became Poyntz.¹
