     Reverend Newdigate Poyntz was born circa 1752.¹ He was the son of Newdigate Poyntz and Elizabeth Castleton.² He married, secondly, Mary Bliss, daughter of Reverend Philip Bliss.² He married, firstly, Jane Grey Williamson, daughter of Richard Williamson, on 7 May 1779.¹ He died on 15 December 1825.²
     He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was the Rector in 1777 at Tormarton, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Richard Williamson lived at Eydon, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹

     Jane Grey Williamson is the daughter of Richard Williamson.² She married Reverend Newdigate Poyntz, son of Newdigate Poyntz and Elizabeth Castleton, on 7 May 1779.¹
     From 7 May 1779, her married name became Poyntz.¹

     Reverend Nathaniel Poyntz was born on 12 August 1782.¹ He was the son of Reverend Newdigate Poyntz and Jane Grey Williamson.² He married Ann Jenkins, daughter of Richard Jenkins, on 18 September 1806.¹ He died in March 1873 at age 90.¹
     He was educated at St. Mary’s Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was the Vicar in 1813 at Methwold, Norfolk, England^G.¹ In 1813 Norfolk.¹ He was the Rector at Cranwich, England^G.¹

     Richard Jenkins lived at Pantynawel, Glamorgan, Wales^G.¹

     Ann Jenkins is the daughter of Richard Jenkins.² She married Reverend Nathaniel Poyntz, son of Reverend Newdigate Poyntz and Jane Grey Williamson, on 18 September 1806.¹
     From 18 September 1806, her married name became Poyntz.¹

     Newdigate Poyntz was born on 4 August 1807.¹ He was the son of Reverend Nathaniel Poyntz and Ann Jenkins.² He died on 27 December 1825 at age 18.¹

     Sarah Jane Poyntz was born on 18 August 1811.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Nathaniel Poyntz and Ann Jenkins.² She married Robert Charles Nicholl Carne, son of Reverend Robert Carne and Elizabeth Carne, on 15 May 1838.¹ She died on 15 January 1861 at age 49, without issue.¹
     From 15 May 1838, her married name became Carne.¹

     Reverend Robert Carne was born in 1763.² He was the son of Whitlock Nicholl.³ He married, firstly, Mary Woodward before 1791.² He married, secondly, Elizabeth Carne, daughter of Captain Charles Loder Carne, in 1800.³ He died on 10 December 1849 at Dunland House, Glamorgan, Wales.²
     He lived at Dimlands, Glamorgan, Wales^G.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Glamorgan.³ He was given the name of Robert Nicholl at birth.² He was Curate from 1788 to 1789 at Chevenage, Gloucestershire, England.² He was Rector in 1795 at Port Eynon, Glamorgan, Wales.³ He was Curate in 1824 at Llanmaes, Glamorgan, Wales.² In 1843 his name was legally changed to Robert Carne by Royal Licence.^3,2

     Robert Charles Nicholl Carne was born in 1806.² He was the son of Reverend Robert Carne and Elizabeth Carne.^3,2 He married Sarah Jane Poyntz, daughter of Reverend Nathaniel Poyntz and Ann Jenkins, on 15 May 1838.¹ He died on 24 November 1869.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at St. Donats Castle, Glamorgan, Wales^G.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He lived at Nash Manor, Glamorgan, Wales^G.¹
