     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Irish Rifles.¹

     George Hugh Massy was born on 9 June 1844.¹ He was the son of Hugh Massy and Mary Anne Gahan.² He married Georgina Fenwick, daughter of George Fenwick, on 15 April 1880.¹ He died on 10 January 1912 at age 67.¹

     Gordon Eyre Massy was born in 1886.¹ He was the son of George Hugh Massy and Georgina Fenwick.² He married Irene Powell in 1958.¹ He died in 1967, without issue.¹

     He fought in the First World War in 1915.¹
