     He gained the rank of Captain in the Queen’s Royal Regiment.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹ He was with the Prison Service before 1940.¹

     Colonel Henry Maxwell Robertson lived at Hartfield Court, Eastbourne, Sussex, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Annabel Mary Margaret Robertson is the daughter of Colonel Henry Maxwell Robertson.² She married Gerald Fancourt Clayton, son of Sir Edward Gilbert Clayton and Georgina Elizabeth Sykes Clayton, on 29 August 1916.¹
     From 29 August 1916, her married name became Clayton.

     Blanche Georgina Clayton was born on 2 October 1865.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Edward Gilbert Clayton and Georgina Elizabeth Sykes Clayton.² She married Reverend William Francis Sorsbie on 14 December 1893.¹ She died on 2 January 1952 at age 86.¹
     From 14 December 1893, her married name became Sorsbie.

     Reverend William Francis Sorsbie married Blanche Georgina Clayton, daughter of Sir Edward Gilbert Clayton and Georgina Elizabeth Sykes Clayton, on 14 December 1893.¹ He died in 1943.¹

     He was educated at Brighton College, Brighton, Sussex, England^G.¹ He was educated at Manitoba University, Manitoba, Canada^G.¹ He was with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police between 1926 and 1929.¹ He was with the Royal Air Force between 1930 and 1935.¹ He was with Imperial Airways between 1936 and 1939.¹ He was with BOAC between 1940 and 1947.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1942.¹ He was general manager for East African Airways between 1947 and 1956.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1956.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1965.¹ He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.)¹

     Constantine Eugenie Johnston is the daughter of Albert Wheeler Johnston.¹ She married Sir Malin Sorsbie, son of Reverend William Francis Sorsbie and Blanche Georgina Clayton, in 1955.¹
