Vice-Admiral Molyneux Shuldham, 1st Baron Shuldham1 
In 1756 he was captured by the French in the West Indies, and spent two years in France.2 He fought in the Capture of Guadeloupe in 1759.2 In 1761 he lost his ship on a reef while taking part in Rodney’s attack on Martinique.2 He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral of the White on 31 March 1775.3 He was created 1st Baron Shuldham on 2 July 1776. He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral of the Blue.2
