     William Fitzwilliam Burton was born on 14 May 1826.² He was the son of William Fitzwilliam Burton and Mary Power.^2,3 He married, firstly, Coralie Augusta Frederica Lloyd, daughter of Henry Lloyd, on 18 June 1848.² He married, secondly, Clara Louisa Cayley, daughter of John Cayley and Clara Louisa Boulton, on 6 January 1894.¹ He died on 29 April 1909 at age 82.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He held the office of High Sheriff of County Carlow in 1849.² He gained the rank of in the 4th Light Dragoons.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Carlow.¹ He lived at Burton Hall, County Carlow, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Goltho Hall, Wragby, Lincolnshire, England^G.²

     Lucy Cayley is the daughter of John Cayley and Harriett Raikes.² She married Reverend C. E. Hutchinson.¹
     From 1870, her married name became Hutchinson.
