     Elizabeth Smelt was born on 6 January 1696.² She was the daughter of Leonard Smelt and Anne Frankland.^3,2 She married Cornelius Cayley, son of Cornelius Cayley and Ann Tyrwhitt, on 18 November 1723.¹ She died in February 1750 at age 54.¹ She was buried on 25 February 1750 at Hull, Yorkshire, England.²
     From 18 November 1723, her married name became Cayley.

     Reverend William Cayley was born in 1724.¹ He was the son of Cornelius Cayley and Elizabeth Smelt.² He died, without issue.¹
     He was the Rector at Burton Agnes, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He was the Rector at Rudston, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Prebendary of Southwell.¹

     John Cayley was born on 7 October 1730.¹ He was the son of Cornelius Cayley and Elizabeth Smelt.² He married Sarah Cozens, daughter of Richard Cozens, on 19 December 1756.¹ He died on 9 July 1795 at age 64.¹
     He was Consul-General to St. Petersburg.¹

     Sarah Cozens was the daughter of Richard Cozens.² She married John Cayley, son of Cornelius Cayley and Elizabeth Smelt, on 19 December 1756.¹ She died on 12 November 1803.¹
     From 19 December 1756, her married name became Cayley.

     John Cayley was born on 11 April 1761.¹ He was the son of John Cayley and Sarah Cozens.² He married, firstly, Anna Halliday, daughter of Matthew Halliday and Anna Regina Kellerman, on 8 February 1792.¹ He married, secondly, Harriett Raikes, daughter of Timothy Raikes, on 20 October 1799.¹ He died on 30 March 1831 at age 69.¹
     He lived at Wallington, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Matthew Halliday was born on 12 April 1732 at Lochbrow, Johnstone, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.² He married Anna Regina Kellerman on 18 December 1758 at British Chaplaincy, St. Petersburg, Russia.² He died on 24 February 1809 at age 76 at St. Petersburg, Russia.²
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He was Physician and Counsellor of State in the service of His Imperial Majesty Emperor of Russia.²

     Anna Halliday was born before 7 August 1769 at St. Petersburg, Russia.² She was the daughter of Matthew Halliday and Anna Regina Kellerman.^3,2 She married John Cayley, son of John Cayley and Sarah Cozens, on 8 February 1792.¹ She died on 8 September 1793, without issue.¹
     From 8 February 1792, her married name became Cayley.

     Harriett Raikes was the daughter of Timothy Raikes.² She married John Cayley, son of John Cayley and Sarah Cozens, on 20 October 1799.¹ She died on 23 February 1870.¹
     From 20 October 1799, her married name became Cayley.
