Aberdeen [U.K.] on 5 July 1921.1 He was member of the Indian Government Retrenchment Committee (Inchcape Committee) between 1922 and 1923.1 He was member of the British Government Committee on Coal Selling in 1926.1 He was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)1 He was created 1st Baron Catto, of Cairncatto, co.
