     Sir Charles Carteret, 3rd Bt. was baptised on 4 June 1679 at St. Margaret’s Church, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Sir Philip Carteret, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Carteret.¹ He died on 3 June 1715 at age 35, without surviving issue.¹ He was also reported to have died on 6 June 1715.¹ He was buried on 8 June 1715 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England^G.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Carteret, of St. Ouen, Jersey [E., 1670] in 1693.¹ He held the office of Gentleman of the Privy Chamber to Queen Anne.¹ He held the office of High Bailiff of Jersey.¹
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.¹

     Sir Robin McAlpine was born on 18 March 1906.² He was the son of Sir Thomas Malcolm McAlpine and Maud Dees.³ He married, firstly, Nora Constance Perse, daughter of Horace Frank Perse, on 14 July 1939.² He married, secondly, Philippa Janet Tennyson-d’Eyncourt, daughter of Sir Eustace Gervais Tennyson-d’Eyncourt, 2nd Bt. and Pamela Gladstone, on 20 March 1970.¹ He died in 1993.¹
     He was given the name of Robert McAlpine at birth.² He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.² In 1939 his name was legally changed to Robin McAlpine by Deed Poll.² He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1957.² He was president of the Federation of Civil Engineering Contractors.³ He was chairman of Sir Robert McAlpine and Sons Ltd before 1969.² He was appointed Knight in 1969.²

     Richard Mark Pemberton was born on 25 April 1961.² He is the son of Christopher Henry Pemberton and Hester Riddell.³ He married Olivia Mary Rokeby Fane, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Antony Charles Reynardson Fane and Caroline Mary Rokeby Holland, on 1 May 1993 at Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹
     Richard Mark Pemberton usually went by his middle name of Mark.² He lived in 2003 at 17 Melbourne Place, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.²

     Abigail Davies is the daughter of Tony Davies.¹ She married James Peter de Bunsen, son of Captain Peter Noel de Bunsen and Hon. Alexandra Carington.¹
     Her married name became de Bunsen.¹

     Violet Iona de Bunsen was born on 26 June 2004.¹ She is the daughter of James Peter de Bunsen and Abigail Davies.¹
