     Gratiana Darell was the daughter of Thomas Darell.² She married Sir Henry Carew, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Carew, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Carew, on 24 November 1686.¹ She died after July 1708.³
     From 24 November 1686, her married name became Carew.

     Sir Henry Darell Carew, 3rd Bt. was born on 24 April 1690.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Carew, 2nd Bt. and Gratiana Darell.² He died before 7 July 1708 at London, England^G, unmarried.¹ He died intestate and his estate was administered to his mother on 7 July 1708.³
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Carew, of Haccombe, co. Devon [E., 1661] in 1695.¹ He matriculated at Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 2 December 1706.³

     Sir Thomas Carew, 4th Bt. was born on 4 August 1691.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Carew, 2nd Bt. and Gratiana Darell.² He married Dorothy West, daughter of Peter West and Dorothy Carew, on 3 October 1727.¹ He died circa January 1745/46.¹ He was buried on 6 February 1745/46.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Carew, of Haccombe, co. Devon [E., 1661] before 7 July 1708.¹ He matriculated at Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 7 April 1709.³ He held the office of Sheriff of Devon from 1731 to 1732.¹

     Dorothy West was the daughter of Peter West and Dorothy Carew.^1,2 She married Sir Thomas Carew, 4th Bt., son of Sir Henry Carew, 2nd Bt. and Gratiana Darell, on 3 October 1727.¹ She died before 29 April 1776.¹ Her will was proven (by probate) in April 1776.²

     Sir John Carew, 5th Bt. was born on 9 February 1730.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Carew, 4th Bt. and Dorothy West.² He married Elizabeth Holdsworth, daughter of Reverend Henry Holdsworth, in 1755.¹ He died on 28 January 1759 at age 28.¹
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Carew, of Haccombe, co. Devon [E., 1661] circa January 1745/46.¹

     Elizabeth Holdsworth was born circa 1730.² She was the daughter of Reverend Henry Holdsworth.¹ She married Sir John Carew, 5th Bt., son of Sir Thomas Carew, 4th Bt. and Dorothy West, in 1755.¹ She died on 8 February 1817.¹
     From 1755, her married name became Carew.

     Eileen Harmsworth Hood is the daughter of Douglas Cunningham Hood.¹ She married Rt. Rev. and Rt. Hon. George Leonard Carey, Baron Carey of Clifton, son of George Thomas Carey and Ruby Catherine Gurney, in 1960.¹
     From 1960, her married name became Carey.¹ After her marriage, Eileen Harmsworth Hood was styled as Baroness Carey of Clifton on 5 November 2002.¹

     Reverend John West Carew was born on 2 June 1756.¹ He was the son of Sir John Carew, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Holdsworth.² He married Lydston Smallwood, daughter of Reverend Charles Smallwood, on 3 May 1785.¹
     He was the Rector at Bickleigh, Devon, England^G.¹

     Reverend Charles Smallwood lived at Kirkoswald, Cumberland, England^G.¹

     Lydston Smallwood was the daughter of Reverend Charles Smallwood.² She married Reverend John West Carew, son of Sir John Carew, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Holdsworth, on 3 May 1785.¹
     From 3 May 1785, her married name became Carew.
