Peerage Record – 1861

     Anne van Bloemendale was born on 10 October 1622.² She was the daughter of Hans Hendrik van Bloemendale.¹ She married Bernard Bentinck, Baron Bentinck, son of Hendrik Bentinck, Baron Bentinck and Anne Beninga, on 21 December 1638.¹ She died on 30 March 1685 at age 62.¹
     Her married name became Bentinck.

     Hans Hendrik van Bloemendale held the office of Seneschal of Vianen.¹

     Henry Bentinck, Baron Bentinck was born on 7 October 1640.¹ He was the son of Bernard Bentinck, Baron Bentinck and Anne van Bloemendale.¹ He married Ida Magdalen d‘Ittersum, Baroness d’Ittersum on 21 October 1680.¹ He died on 9 February 1691 at age 50.¹
     He succeeded as the 7th Baron Bentinck [The Netherlands] on 29 July 1668.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel of Cavalry.¹ He held the office of Seneschal of Twenthe.¹ He lived at Dipenheim^G.¹

     Ida Magdalen d‘Ittersum, Baroness d’Ittersum married Henry Bentinck, Baron Bentinck, son of Bernard Bentinck, Baron Bentinck and Anne van Bloemendale, on 21 October 1680.¹ She died on 18 November 1728.¹
     She gained the title of Baroness d’Ittersum.¹ Her married name became Bentinck.

     Bernhard Hendrick Bentinck, Baron Bentinck was born on 2 September 1702 at Diepenheim, The Netherlands^G.² He was the son of Willem Bentinck, Baron Bentinck and Anne Agnes Bentinck, Vrouwe van Diephenheim.¹ He married Bona Elizabeth Jurrianne de Tetre, daughter of Ambrosius du Tetre, on 12 December 1732 at Zwolle, The Netherlands^G.^1,2 He died on 19 February 1773 at age 70 at Schoonheten, The Netherlands^G.^1,2
     He was Coadjutor of the Teutonic Order.¹ He was appointed Knight of Overyssel in 1723.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baron Bentinck [The Netherlands] in 1747.¹ He lived at Schoonheten, The Netherlands^G.¹ He lived at Diepenheim, The Netherlands^G.¹

     Bona Elizabeth Jurrianne de Tetre was born on 15 October 1710 at Zwolle, The Netherlands^G.² She was the daughter of Ambrosius du Tetre.¹ She married Bernhard Hendrick Bentinck, Baron Bentinck, son of Willem Bentinck, Baron Bentinck and Anne Agnes Bentinck, Vrouwe van Diephenheim, on 12 December 1732 at Zwolle, The Netherlands^G.^1,2 She died on 1 July 1796 at age 85 at Schoonheten, The Netherlands^G.²

     Maj.-Gen. Volkier Rudolf Bentinck, Baron Bentinck was born on 19 June 1738.¹ He was the son of Bernhard Hendrick Bentinck, Baron Bentinck and Bona Elizabeth Jurrianne de Tetre.¹ He married Henrietta van Haersolte.¹ He died on 25 December 1820 at age 82.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the British Army.¹ He held the office of Governer of Guernsey.¹ He gained the rank of Quartermaster-General in the Dutch Army, under William, Prince of Orange.¹ He was Land Commandeur of the Teutonic Order.¹ He was Balye (magistrate) of Utrecht.¹ He gained the rank of Major-General in the a Scottish Regiment.¹ He succeeded as the 11th Baron Bentinck [The Netherlands] in 1773.¹ He had a daughter.¹

     Marcus James Julius Evans was born in 1972.¹ He is the son of Rupert Arthur Rees Evans and Elisabeth Grace Arbuthnott.¹

     Admiral Sir George Westphal gained the rank of Admiral in the Royal Navy.¹
