     He graduated from Sydney University, Sydney, New South Wales, AustraliaG, in 1957 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Sydney University, Sydney, New South Wales, AustraliaG, in 1958 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)1 He was a practising barrister in 1959 at New South Wales, AustraliaG.1 He was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.) in 1982.1 He was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (O.A.M.) in 1999.1
