     William James Broun was born on 15 September 1882.¹ He was the son of David Limond Broun and Margaret Kelly.¹ He married, firstly, Miriam Rheta Peryman, daughter of Sydney T. Peryman, in 1914.¹ He married, secondly, Dorothea Esther Strahley, daughter of David A. Strahley, in 1947.² He died on 15 September 1963 at age 81.²

     Miriam Rheta Peryman is the daughter of Sydney T. Peryman.¹ She married William James Broun, son of David Limond Broun and Margaret Kelly, in 1914.¹

     William James Peryman Broun was born on 8 December 1922.¹ He was the son of William James Broun and Miriam Rheta Peryman.¹ He married Penelope Jane Horn, daughter of W. T. Horn, in 1956.¹ He died on 9 December 1999 at age 77.¹
     He graduated from Sydney University, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G, in 1944 with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1944 in the Royal Australian Navy.¹

     Penelope Jane Horn is the daughter of W. T. Horn.¹ She married William James Peryman Broun, son of William James Broun and Miriam Rheta Peryman, in 1956.¹
     From 1956, her married name became Broun.¹ She lived in 2003 at 6 Epacris Avenue, Forestville, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹
