Sir Thomas Liddell, 1st Bt.1 
He was admitted to Gray’s Inn on 15 March 1619/20.1 He was a royalist during the Civil War, hence was fined £4,000 as delinquent.3 In 1642 he defended Newcastle against the Scots.3 He was created 1st Baronet Liddell [England] on 2 November 1642.4
