     Horace Watson Agnew was born on 22 February 1834 at Jaunpore, India^G.¹ He was the son of Captain Alexander Kerr Agnew, 6th of Dalreagle and Dorothy Watson.¹

     William Henry Agnew was born on 29 May 1836 at Barrackpore, India^G.¹ He was the son of Captain Alexander Kerr Agnew, 6th of Dalreagle and Dorothy Watson.¹

     Sir John Vansittart Bowater, 4th Bt. was born on 6 April 1918.¹ He was the son of Victor Spencer Bowater and Hilda Mary Potter.² He married Joan Kathleen Scullard, daughter of Wilfrid Ernest Henry Scullard, on 22 October 1943.¹ He died on 24 April 2008 at age 90.³
     He was educated at Branksome School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, in the Royal Artillery.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Bowater, of Hill Crest, Croydon [U.K., 1914] on 3 March 1972.¹ He lived in 2003 at 214 Runymede Avenue, Bearwood, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Joan Kathleen Scullard was the daughter of Wilfrid Ernest Henry Scullard.¹ She married Sir John Vansittart Bowater, 4th Bt., son of Victor Spencer Bowater and Hilda Mary Potter, on 22 October 1943.¹ She died in 1982.¹
     From 22 October 1943, her married name became Bowater.¹

     Wilfrid Ernest Henry Scullard lived at 46 Darracott Road, Boscombe, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Sir Michael Patrick Bowater, 5th Bt. was born on 18 July 1949.¹ He is the son of Sir John Vansittart Bowater, 4th Bt. and Joan Kathleen Scullard.¹ He married Alison Wall, daughter of Edward Wall, in 1968.¹
     He lived in 2003 at The Anchorage, Quay West, Minehead, Somerset, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Bowater, of Hill Crest, Croydon [U.K., 1914] on 24 April 2008.²

     Alison Wall is the daughter of Edward Wall.¹ She married Sir Michael Patrick Bowater, 5th Bt., son of Sir John Vansittart Bowater, 4th Bt. and Joan Kathleen Scullard, in 1968.¹
     From 1968, her married name became Bowater.¹
