     Margaret Mackintosh was born on 5 November 1772.2 She was the daughter of John Mackintosh and Ann (?)2 She married Maj.-Gen. Patrick Alexander Agnew, 4th of Dalreagle, son of Lt.-Col. Alexander Agnew, 3rd of Dalreagle and Penelope Agnew, circa 1798.3 She died in 1814.3
     From circa 1798, her married name became Agnew.3

     Captain William Henry Agnew, 5th of Dalreagle was born in 1800.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Patrick Alexander Agnew, 4th of Dalreagle and Margaret Mackintosh.1 He died in 1832, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 6th Madras Native Infantry.1

Captain Alexander Kerr Agnew, 6th of Dalreagle1

     Captain Alexander Kerr Agnew, 6th of Dalreagle was born on 5 October 1804 at Madras, IndiaG.2 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Patrick Alexander Agnew, 4th of Dalreagle and Margaret Mackintosh.1 He married Dorothy Watson, daughter of Horace Watson and Emma (?), on 19 July 1828 at Takli, Nagpur, IndiaG.2 He died on 16 March 1855 at age 50 at London, EnglandG.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 6th Madras Native Infantry, Bengal Army.1

     Dorothy Watson was born in 1810 at Shoreham, Kent, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of Horace Watson and Emma (?)2 She married Captain Alexander Kerr Agnew, 6th of Dalreagle, son of Maj.-Gen. Patrick Alexander Agnew, 4th of Dalreagle and Margaret Mackintosh, on 19 July 1828 at Takli, Nagpur, IndiaG.2 She died on 21 May 1864 at Lyon, FranceG.2
     From 19 July 1828, her married name became Agnew.1

     Harriet Agnew is the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Patrick Alexander Agnew, 4th of Dalreagle and Margaret Mackintosh.1 She married Alexander Stuart-Menteth, son of Sir Charles Granville Stuart-Menteth of Closeburn, 1st Bt. and Ludivina Loughnan, in 1841.1
     She wrote the book Lays of the Kirk and Covenanter.1 From 1841, her married name became Stuart-Menteth.1
