Commander Gregory Stapleton1 
He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Angelsey.2 He was Captain Superintendent, Lighthouse Service, Ceylon in 1907.2 He was Nautical Assessor, Ceylon in 1908.2 He was commander of the Special Armed Constabulary during the riots in 1915 at Sri Lanka.2 He was Naval Attaché to Lisbon in 1918.2 He was awarded the Commander, Military Order of Avis of Portugal.2 He was Captain, Port of Holyhead between 1919 and 1934.2 He held the office of Younger Brother, Trinity House.2
