     Captain Hon. William Hervey was born on 25 December 1699.1 He was the son of John Hervey, 1st Earl of Bristol and Elizabeth Felton.1 He married Elizabeth Ridge, daughter of Thomas Ridge, on 27 March 1729.1 He died in 1776.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1
