     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Shaw, of the city of London [E., 1665] on 4 March 1738/39.¹ He matriculated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 29 June 1745.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 28 June 1748 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 12 June 1749 with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Kent from 1753 to 1754.¹ He lived at Coltshall, Suffolk, England^G.¹ He lived at Eltham Lodge, Eltham, Kent, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Hedges was the daughter of William Hedges.¹ She married Sir John Shaw, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Shaw, 3rd Bt. and Anna Maria Barnardiston, on 4 February 1749/50.¹ She was also reported to have been married on 26 February 1749/50.¹ She died on 3 February 1750/51.¹ She was buried on 12 February 1750/51 at Eltham, Kent, England^G.¹
     From 4 February 1749/50, her married name became Shaw.¹

     William Hedges lived at Alderton, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Martha Kenward was born circa 1730.¹ She was the daughter of John Kenward.¹ She married Sir John Shaw, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Shaw, 3rd Bt. and Anna Maria Barnardiston, on 17 February 1752.¹ She died circa October 1794.¹ She was buried on 28 October 1794 at Eltham, Kent, England^G.¹ Her will was proven (by probate) in November 1794.¹
     From 17 February 1752, her married name became Shaw.¹

     John Kenward lived at Kenward Park, Yalding, Kent, England^G.¹

     Hon. Theodosia Margaret Monson was born on 20 September 1762.¹ She was the daughter of John Monson, 2nd Baron Monson of Burton and Theodosia Maddison.¹ She married Sir John Gregory Shaw, 5th Bt., son of Sir John Shaw, 4th Bt. and Martha Kenward, on 9 March 1782 at St. Marylebone Church, Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London, England^G. She died on 24 October 1847 at age 85.¹ Her will was proven (by probate) in November 1847.¹
     From 9 March 1782, her married name became Shaw.¹

     Sir John Kenward Shaw, 6th Bt. was born on 15 March 1783.¹ He was the son of Sir John Gregory Shaw, 5th Bt. and Hon. Theodosia Margaret Monson.¹ He married Charlotte Lloyd, daughter of William Lloyd, in 1809.¹ He died on 17 March 1857 at age 74 at Paris, France^G, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He matriculated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 28 October 1801.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Shaw, of the city of London [E., 1665] on 28 October 1831.¹ He was Colonel of the West Kent Militia between 1832 and 1853.¹ He lived at Kenward Park, Yalding, Kent, England^G.¹

     Charlotte Lloyd was born circa 1784.¹ She was the daughter of William Lloyd.¹ She married Sir John Kenward Shaw, 6th Bt., son of Sir John Gregory Shaw, 5th Bt. and Hon. Theodosia Margaret Monson, in 1809.¹ She died on 12 February 1870 at Boulogne-sur-Mer, France^G.¹
     From 1809, her married name became Shaw.¹

     William Lloyd lived at Betchworth, Surrey, England^G.¹
