Sir Thomas Tyrwhitt-Jones, 1st Bt.1 
He was given the name of Thomas Tyrwhitt at birth.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Weymouth between 1790 and 1791.1 On 3 March 1790 his name was legally changed to Thomas Tyrwhitt-Jones by Royal Licence.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Denbigh between 1797 and 1802.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Athlone between 1802 and 1806.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Shrewsbury.1 He was created 1st Baronet Tyrwhitt-Jones, of Stanley Hall, Shropshire [U.K.] on 2 October 1808.1
