Athorpe in 1907.² He married, secondly, Dorothy Ann Leslie, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Henry Leslie, on 3 January 1912.^2,3 He died on 8 February 1956 at age 77.¹

     Margaret Eugenie Blackwell was born on 22 December 1920.² She was the daughter of Philip William Blackwell.¹ She married Lt.-Cdr. John Ashton Shuttleworth, son of Major Ashton Ashton Shuttleworth and Dorothy Ann Leslie, on 25 August 1940.¹ She died on 1 June 2015 at age 94.²
     From 25 August 1940, her married name became Shuttleworth.¹

     He was educated at Nautical College, Pangbourne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹

     Ian Ashton Shuttleworth was born on 11 March 1944.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Cdr. John Ashton Shuttleworth and Margaret Eugenie Blackwell.¹ He died on 23 May 2015 at age 71.²
     He was educated at Nautical College, Pangbourne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹

     Ashton Ashton Shuttleworth was born on 5 May 1947.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Cdr. John Ashton Shuttleworth and Margaret Eugenie Blackwell.¹ He died on 5 July 1969 at age 22, killed in a car accident.²
