     Sir William Ashurst was born on 26 April 1647.¹ He was the son of Henry Ashurst and Judith Reresby.¹ He was baptised on 2 May 1647 at St. Augustine’s, Watling Street, London, England^G.¹ He and Elizabeth Thompson obtained a marriage license on 1 August 1688.¹ He died on 12 January 1719/20 at age 72.¹
     He held the office of Lord Mayor of London from 1693 to 1694.¹

     Elizabeth Thompson was the daughter of Robert Thompson.¹ She and Sir William Ashurst obtained a marriage license on 1 August 1688.¹
     From 1 August 1688, her married name became Ashurst.¹

     Robert Thompson lived at Newington Green, London, England^G.¹

     Sir Henry Ashurst, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Henry Ashurst, 1st Bt. and Hon. Dyana Paget.¹ He married Elizabeth Draper, daughter of Sir Thomas Draper, 1st Bt. and Mary Carey, before January 1711.¹ He died on 17 May 1732, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Ashurst, of Waterstock, Oxfordshire [E., 1688] on 13 April 1711.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Windsor between 1715 and 1722.¹ He lived at Harkestead Hetherhall, Suffolk, England^G.¹
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.¹

     Elizabeth Draper was the daughter of Sir Thomas Draper, 1st Bt. and Mary Carey.¹ She married Sir Henry Ashurst, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Henry Ashurst, 1st Bt. and Hon. Dyana Paget, before January 1711.¹ She died before 1738 at Sunninghill, Berkshire, England^G.¹ She died intestate and her estate was administered to to “John Baber, Esq.”, nephew and next of kin on 23 March 1737/38.¹
     From before January 1711, her married name became Ashurst.¹

     Sir Thomas Draper, 1st Bt. gained the title of 1st Baronet Draper, of Sunninghill, co. Berks [England] on 9 June 1660.¹

     Mary Carey lived at Sunninghill, Berkshire, England^G.¹

     Diana Allin is the daughter of Sir William Allen, 1st Bt. and Frances Ashurst.¹ She married Thomas Henry Ashurst.¹
     Her married name became Ashurst.¹

     Robert Whalley graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He lived at Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹

     Sir William Henry Ashhurst was the son of Thomas Henry Ashurst and Diana Allin.¹ He married Grace Whalley, daughter of Robert Whalley.² He died in 1807.²
     He lived at Waterstock, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Court of the King’s Bench between 1770 and 1800.¹
