     From 30 November 1897, her married name became Macdonald.¹

     James Macdonald was born before 1882. He married Agnes Madeline Eleanora Agnew, daughter of Reverend David Carnegie Andrew Agnew and Eleanora James Kerr Ross Bell, on 30 November 1897.¹ He died on 17 July 1923.¹
     He held the office of Writer to the Signet (W.S.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Keeper of the Great Seal [Scotland].¹

     James Andrew Agnew was born on 21 June 1823 at Leswalt, Wigtownshire, Scotland^G.^1,2 He was the son of Sir Andrew Agnew of Lochnaw, 7th Bt. and Madeline Carnegie.¹ He died on 27 January 1918 at age 94.¹
     He was registered as a Civil Engineer (C.E.)¹

     Sir Stair Andrew Agnew was born on 6 December 1831 at Leswalt, Wigtownshire, Scotland^G.^1,2 He was the son of Sir Andrew Agnew of Lochnaw, 7th Bt. and Madeline Carnegie.¹ He married Georgina Nisbett, daughter of George More Nisbett, 7th of Cairnhill, on 1 December 1870.¹ He died on 12 July 1916 at age 84.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1855 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1858 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 9th Regiment.¹ He held the office of Legal Secretary to the Lord Advocate [Scotland] between 1861 and 1866.¹ He held the office of Legal Secretary to the Lord Advocate [Scotland] between 1868 and 1870.¹ He held the office of Lord Remembrancer [Scotland] between 1870 and 1881.¹ He held the office of Registrar-General of Scotland between 1881 and 1909.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1895.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wigtownshire.¹

     Georgina Nisbett was the daughter of George More Nisbett, 7th of Cairnhill.¹ She married Sir Stair Andrew Agnew, son of Sir Andrew Agnew of Lochnaw, 7th Bt. and Madeline Carnegie, on 1 December 1870.¹ She died on 6 June 1916.¹
     From 1 December 1870, her married name became Agnew.¹

     George More Nisbett, 7th of Cairnhill lived at Cirnhill, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G.²

     Stair Carnegie Agnew was born on 16 January 1872.¹ He was the son of Sir Stair Andrew Agnew and Georgina Nisbett.¹ He married Sylvia Bellville Bremmer, daughter of Alexander Martin Bunster Bremmer, on 4 April 1918.¹ He died on 14 June 1940 at age 68.¹
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)¹ He was a practising Barrister-at-Law.¹

     Sylvia Bellville Bremmer was the daughter of Alexander Martin Bunster Bremmer.¹ She married Stair Carnegie Agnew, son of Sir Stair Andrew Agnew and Georgina Nisbett, on 4 April 1918.¹ She died on 12 December 1974.¹
     From 4 April 1918, her married name became Agnew.¹

     Alexander Martin Bunster Bremmer was a barrister.¹
