     He was a solicitor in 1949.¹

     Christina Jeanette Warburton is the daughter of Harold Warburton.¹ She married Douglas Martin Stair Agnew, son of Stair Carnegie Agnew and Sylvia Bellville Bremmer, on 26 February 1951.¹
     From 26 February 1951, her married name became Agnew.¹

     Harold Warburton lived at Cromwell Crescent^G.¹

     Leslie Stair Agnew was born on 1 June 1919.¹ She was the daughter of Stair Carnegie Agnew and Sylvia Bellville Bremmer.¹ She died on 28 November 1998 at age 79.¹
     She held the office of Augustinian Canoness at English Convent, Bruges between 1945 and 1998.¹

     Colonel Herbert Charles Agnew was born on 20 November 1880.¹ He was the son of Sir Stair Andrew Agnew and Georgina Nisbett.¹ He married Enys Wason, daughter of James Wason and Wilhelmina Margarita Nixon, on 19 August 1919.¹ He died on 15 June 1949 at age 68.¹
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Engineers.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1928.¹

     Enys Wason was born in 1882.² She was the daughter of James Wason and Wilhelmina Margarita Nixon.^1,2 She married Colonel Herbert Charles Agnew, son of Sir Stair Andrew Agnew and Georgina Nisbett, on 19 August 1919.¹ She died in 1985.¹
     From 19 August 1919, her married name became Agnew.¹

     James Wason was born in 1847 at Corwar House, Colmonell, Ayrshire, Scotland.² He married Wilhelmina Margarita Nixon in 1885 at St. James, Westminster, London, England.² He died on 3 October 1896 at Merton Hall, Newton Stewart, Wigtownshire, Scotland.²
     He was a practising solicitor.²

     P/O David Michael Agnew was born on 17 July 1920 at Bangalore, Madras, India.^1,2 He was the son of Colonel Herbert Charles Agnew and Enys Wason.¹ He died on 18 November 1940 at age 20 at Hawarden, Flintshire, Wales, killed in action, in a Westland Lysander.^1,2
     He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Pilot Officer in the Royal Air Force.¹ He fought in the Second World War.

     Lt.-Col. John Nevin Agnew was born on 10 May 1922.¹ He was the son of Colonel Herbert Charles Agnew and Enys Wason.¹ He married Margaret Scott Thomson, daughter of Moffatt Scott Thomson, on 1 June 1951.¹ He died on 6 June 2013 at age 91.²
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1943 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1947 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.¹

     Margaret Scott Thomson was born in 1922.² She was the daughter of Moffatt Scott Thomson.¹ She married Lt.-Col. John Nevin Agnew, son of Colonel Herbert Charles Agnew and Enys Wason, on 1 June 1951.¹ She died on 15 March 2015.²
     From 1 June 1951, her married name became Agnew.¹
