     Sir Robert Deane, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Matthew Deane, 1st Bt. and Mary Wallis.¹ He married Anne Bettridge, daughter of Colonel William Bettridge.¹ He died on 14 September 1714.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Deane [I., 1710] on 10 January 1710/11.¹

     John Russell was born circa 1700.¹ He was the son of Patrick Russell of Moncoffer and Catherine Campbell.¹ He married, firstly, Marjory MacKintosh circa 1721.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Calder, daughter of Sir Thomas Calder, 2nd Bt. and Christian Scott, in December 1739.¹ He died on 3 May 1753.¹
     In 1740 he bought Rathen, Aberdeenshire.¹ In 1752 he bought Blairmormond, Aberdeenshire.¹

     Alexander Russel died in 1645 at Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland^G.¹
     He may have descended from the Russels of Bredshaw.¹ In 1600 he bought much property in Moray.¹
