     Helene Ilona Erzherzogin von Österreich was born on 20 April 1927 at Budapest, Hungary^G.² She was the daughter of Joseph Franz Erzherzog von Österreich and Anna Monika Pia Prinzessin von Sachsen.¹ She married Georg Alexander Herzog von Mecklenburg, son of Georg Alexander Herzog von Mecklenburg and Irina Mikhailovna Raievskya, on 20 April 1946 at Sigmaringen, Baden-Württemburg, Germany, in a civil marriage.² She and Georg Alexander Herzog von Mecklenburg were divorced on 12 December 1974 at Freiburg-im-Breisgau, Germany^G.³ Helene Ilona and Georg Alexander were also married in a religious ceremony on 30 April 1946.³ She died on 12 January 2011 at age 83 at Freiburg-im-Breisgau, Germany^G.⁴
