James Hamilton, 3rd Lord Hamilton, Baron of Strabane1 
He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Hamilton, Baron of Strabane, co. Tyrone [I., 1617] on 14 June 1638.2 He fought in the Battle of Charlemont on 20 July 1650, where he fought on the side of his stepfather, Sir Phelim O’Neill, and was laten prisoner by the English, 6 Aug 1650.2

Claud Hamilton, 4th Earl of Abercorn1

Claud Hamilton, 4th Earl of Abercorn was baptised on 13 September 1659 at St. Audoen’s Church, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.3 He was born circa September 1659.3 He was the son of George Hamilton, 4th Lord Hamilton, Baron of Strabane and Elizabeth Fagan.1,4 He died in August 1691 at age 31 killed in action, while returning from France to Ireland, with a Dutch ship near Brest.3
He succeeded as the 5th Lord Hamilton, Baron of Strabane, co. Tyrone [I., 1617] on 14 April 1668.3 He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Abercorn [S., 1606] circa 1680.3 He succeeded as the 4th Lord Paisley, co. Renfrew [S., 1587] circa 1680. He succeeded as the 4th Lord Abercorn, co. Linlithgow [S., 1603] circa 1680. He succeeded as the 4th Lord Paisley, Hamilton, Mountcashell and Kirkpatrick [S., 1606] circa 1680. He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland]4 He held the office of Lord of the Bedchamber to King James II.4 He fought in the Battle of the Boyne on 1 July 1690.4 On 11 May 1691 he was outlawed in Ireland, and his Irish titles were forfeited.3 He fought in the Battle of Aughrim on 12 July 1691, where he commanded a regiment of horse.3

Lady Jean Gordon1 
She was also known as Jane Gordon. From 28 November 1632, her married name became Hamilton. After her marriage, Lady Jean Gordon was styled as Baroness of Strabane on 14 August 1634.1 In December 1641 , in the Irish Rebellion, she surrendered Strabane Castle to Sir Phelim O’Neill.1 From circa 1649, her married name became O’Neill.1
