     Ellen McCarthy is the daughter of Daniel McCarthy Reagh.² A contract for the marriage of Ellen McCarthy and Teige O’Donoghue was signed on 5 May 1634.¹
     From 5 May 1634, her married name became O’Donoghue.

     Geoffrey O’Donoghue, The O’Donoghue of the Glens was the son of Teige O’Donoghue and Ellen McCarthy.² He married Alice Coppinger.² He died between 19 January 1677 and 22 March 1678.² His will was proven (by probate) on 22 March 1678.²
     Geoffrey O’Donoghue, The O’Donoghue of the Glens also went by the nick-name of ‘The Poet’.² He held the position of O’Donoghue of the Glens from in 1655.² His last will was dated 19 January 1677.²

     Honora McAuliffe married Donal ‘Duff’ O’Donoghue, son of Teige O’Donoghue and Griobha O’Neill.¹
     She lived at Castlemacauliffe, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ Her married name became O’Donoghue.
