     She gained the title of Prinzessin Alexis von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld.¹

     Wilhelm Chlodwig Friedrich Ernst Hermann Paul Philipp Heinrich Landgraf von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld was born on 14 August 1933 at Augustenau Castle, Herlehausen, Germany^G.² He was also reported to have been born on 14 August 1933. He is the son of Wilhelm Landgraf von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and Marianne Prinzessin von Preußen.¹ He married Oda-Mathilde von Garmisson, daughter of Hilmar von Garmisson and Baroness Oda von Bouwald, on 5 August 1961 at Sievershausen, Germany^G.² He was also reported to have been married on 5 August 1961.
     He gained the title of Landgraf Wilhelm von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld.¹

     Hermann Prinz von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld was born on 12 August 1935 at Castle Augustenau, Herleshausen, Hessen, Germany^G.² He was also reported to have been born on 12 August 1935. He is the son of Wilhelm Landgraf von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and Marianne Prinzessin von Preußen.¹ He married Monika Gräfin Strachwitz von Gross-Zauche und Camminetz, daughter of Manfred Graf Strachwitz von Gross-Zauche und Camminetz, on 9 May 1962.²
     He gained the title of Prinz Hermann von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld.¹

She is the daughter of Wilhelm Landgraf von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and Marianne Prinzessin von Preußen.¹ She married, firstly, Alfons Kuhn on 30 September 1957. She and Alfons Kuhn were divorced in 1961. She married, secondly, Bruno Rieck on 8 June 1963.
     She gained the title of Prinzessin Johanna von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld.¹ From 30 September 1957, her married name became Kuhn. From 8 June 1963, her married name became Rieck.

     Oda-Mathilde von Garmisson was born on 12 February 1935 at Friedrichshausen, Germany^G.¹ She is the daughter of Hilmar von Garmisson and Baroness Oda von Bouwald.¹ She married Wilhelm Chlodwig Friedrich Ernst Hermann Paul Philipp Heinrich Landgraf von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld, son of Wilhelm Landgraf von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and Marianne Prinzessin von Preußen, on 5 August 1961 at Sievershausen, Germany^G.¹ She was also reported to have been married on 5 August 1961.
