     He gained the title of 1st Prinz Moritz von Hanau und Horowitz.¹ He gained the title of Graf von Schaumburg.¹

     Friedrich Wilhelm Prinz von Hanau und Horowitz was born on 18 November 1832 at Schloss Wilhelmshohe^G.² He was the son of Friedrich Wilhelm I Kurfürst von Hessen-Kassel and Getrud Prinzessin von Hanau und Horowitz.¹ He married, firstly, Auguste Birnbaum, daughter of Karl Birnbaum and Maria Sargany, on 23 September 1856 at St. James’s, London, England^G.² He and Auguste Birnbaum were divorced before 1875.² He married, secondly, Ludowika Gloede, daughter of Reverend Friedrich Gloede and Maria Dorothea Goldbeck, on 8 April 1875 at Vienna, Austria^G.² He died on 14 May 1889 at age 56 at Horovice, Poland.²
     He gained the title of Prinz von Hanau und Horowitz.¹ He gained the title of Graf von Schaumburg.¹

     Wilhelm von Hanau, 2nd Prinz von Hanau und Horowitz was born on 19 December 1836.² He was the son of Friedrich Wilhelm I Kurfürst von Hessen-Kassel and Getrud Prinzessin von Hanau und Horowitz.¹ He married, firstly, Elisabeth Prinzessin zu Schaumburg-Lippe, daughter of Georg I Wilhelm Prinz zu Schaumburg-Lippe and Ida Caroline Prinzessin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont, on 30 January 1866 at Frankfurt-am-Main, Hessen, Germany^G.² He and Elisabeth Prinzessin zu Schaumburg-Lippe were divorced in 1868. He married, secondly, Elisabeth Gräfin zur Lippe-Weissenfeld, daughter of Franz Graf zur Lippe-Weissenfeld and Marie von Beschwitz , Baroness von Beschwitz, on 12 May 1890 at Doberitz, Germany^G.² He died on 3 June 1902 at age 65 at Horovice, Poland.²

     Karl von Hanau, 3rd Prinz von Hanau und Horowitz was born on 29 November 1840.² He was the son of Friedrich Wilhelm I Kurfürst von Hessen-Kassel and Getrud Prinzessin von Hanau und Horowitz.¹ He married Hermine Gräfin Grote, daughter of August Graf Grote, on 11 November 1882 at Hannover, Niedersachsen, Germany^G.² He died on 27 January 1905 at age 64.²
     He gained the title of 3rd Prinz Karl von Hanau und Horowitz.¹ He gained the title of Graf von Schaumburg.¹

     Heinrich von Hanau, 4th Prinz von Hanau und Horowitz was born on 8 December 1842.¹ He was the son of Friedrich Wilhelm I Kurfürst von Hessen-Kassel and Getrud Prinzessin von Hanau und Horowitz.¹ He married Martha Riegel, daughter of August Riegel, on 5 June 1917 at Prague, Czech Republic^G.² He died on 15 July 1917 at age 74 at Prague, Czech Republic^G.¹
     He gained the title of 4th Prinz Heinrich von Hanau und Horowitz.¹ He gained the title of Graf von Schaumburg.¹

     Philipp Prinz von Hanau und Horowitz was born on 29 December 1844.² He was the son of Friedrich Wilhelm I Kurfürst von Hessen-Kassel and Getrud Prinzessin von Hanau und Horowitz.¹ He married Albertine Hubatschek-Stauber on 29 March 1875 at Vienna, Austria^G.² He died on 28 August 1914 at age 69 at Oberuf, Germany^G.²

     She gained the title of Prinzessin von Hessen-Kassel.¹ She was the Abbess at Itzehoe, Germany^G.

     Christian Prinz von Hessen-Kassel was born on 14 August 1776 at Gottorp^G.¹ He was the son of Karl Landgraf von Hessen-Kassel and Louise Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark.¹ He died on 14 November 1814 at age 38 at Gottorp^G, unmarried.¹
