     Sir Charles Murray Marling was born on 3 December 1862.¹ He was the son of Sir William Henry Marling, 2nd Bt. and Mary Emily Abraham.² He married Lucia Slade, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir John Ramsay Slade and Janet Little Wood, on 2 September 1909.² He died on 16 February 1933 at age 70.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was with the Diplomatic Service.² He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Persia between 1915 and 1921.¹ He was President of the International Plebiscite Commission on Slesvig in 1920.¹ He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to The Hague between 1921 and 1926.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Claude Rosemary Dove is the daughter of Archibald W. D. Dove.¹ She married, firstly, Peter George Calvert.¹ She married, secondly, Commander Hon. Gustaf Guthrie Rennell Rodd, son of James Rennell Rodd, 1st Baron Rennell and Lilias Georgina Guthrie, on 15 May 1948.¹
     Her married name became Calvert.¹ Her married name became Rodd.

     Madonna Ciccone was born on 16 August 1958 at Bay City, Michigan, U.S.A.^G.¹ She married Guy Stewart Ritchie, son of Captain John Vivian Ritchie and Amber Mary Parkinson, in 2000.¹ She and Guy Stewart Ritchie were divorced in 2008.²

     David Saul Rennell Rodd was born on 24 September 1933.¹ He was the son of Commander Hon. Gustaf Guthrie Rennell Rodd and Yvonne Mary Marling.¹ He died on 17 January 1966 at age 32, unmarried.¹

     John Adrian Tremayne Rodd, 3rd Baron Rennell was born on 28 June 1935.¹ He was the son of Commander Hon. Gustaf Guthrie Rennell Rodd and Yvonne Mary Marling.¹ He married Phyllis Caroline Neill, daughter of Thomas David Neill, on 3 May 1977.¹ He died on 9 December 2006 at age 71.²
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant between 1952 and 1962 in the Royal Navy.¹ He was educated at Royal Naval College, Darmouth, Devon, England.¹ He was with Morgan Grenfell between 1963 and 1966.¹ He was a rugby player for Scotland.¹ He was with Alec Brook Ltd.¹ He was a freelance journalist between 1966 and 1967.¹ He was with Marks of Distinction Ltd between 1968 and 1979.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Rennell, of Rodd, co. Hereford [U.K., 1933] on 15 March 1978.¹ He was with Tremayne Ltd between 1980 and 1991.¹

     Phyllis Caroline Neill is the daughter of Thomas David Neill.¹ She married John Adrian Tremayne Rodd, 3rd Baron Rennell, son of Commander Hon. Gustaf Guthrie Rennell Rodd and Yvonne Mary Marling, on 3 May 1977.¹
     Her married name became Rodd. As of 15 March 1978, Phyllis Caroline Neill usually went by her middle name of Baroness Rennell.

     Thomas David Neill lived at Portadown, County Armagh, Ireland.¹

     James Roderick David Tremayne Rodd, 4th Baron Rennell was born on 9 March 1978.¹ He is the son of John Adrian Tremayne Rodd, 3rd Baron Rennell and Phyllis Caroline Neill.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baron Rennell, of Rodd, co. Hereford [U.K., 1933] on 9 December 2006.¹

     Hon. Gloria Elinor Rodd was born in 1901. She was the daughter of James Rennell Rodd, 1st Baron Rennell and Lilias Georgina Guthrie.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Simon Edmund Vincent Paul Elwes, son of Gervase Henry Elwes and Lady Winefride Mary Elizabeth Feilding, on 25 November 1926.¹ She died on 8 October 1975.¹
     Her married name became Elwes.
