     Almeric Hugh Paget, 1st and last Baron Queenborough was born on 14 March 1861 at London, England^G.^1,3 He was the son of General Lord Alfred Henry Paget and Cecilia Wyndham.¹ He was baptised at London, England^G.³ He married, firstly, Pauline Payne Whitney, daughter of Hon. William Collins Whitney and Flora Payne, on 12 November 1895 at New York, U.S.A.^G.³ He married, secondly, Edith Miller, daughter of William Starr Miller and Edith Caroline Warren, on 19 July 1921 at New York, U.S.A.^G.³ He died on 22 September 1949 at age 88, without male issue.¹
     He was educated between 1875 and 1877 at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.³ He was educated at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.³ In 1906 he contested Cambridge in the General Election for Unionist interests.³ He was President of the Eastern Provincial Division of the National Union of Conservative and Unionist Associations in 1909.³ He held the office of High Sheriff of Suffolk in 1909.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Unionist) for Cambridge between 1910 and 1917.³ He held the office of Parliamentary Provincial Whip for the Eastern and Home Counties between 1911 and 1917.³ He was created 1st Baron Queenborough, of Queenborough, co. Kent [U.K.] on 18 January 1918.³ He was Treasurer of the League of Nations Union.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1926.³ He was President of the National Union of Conservative and Unionist Associations between 1928 and 1929.¹ He was Chairman of Siemens Bros. & Co. Ltd.³ He was President of the Chihuahua and Pacific Railroad.³ He was appointed Knight of Justice, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.J.St.J.)³ He was Chairman of Caxton Electric Developments.³ He was President of the National Union of Conservative and Unionist Associations between 1940 and 1941.¹
     On his death, the Barony of Queenborough became extinct.¹

     Pauline Payne Whitney was born on 21 March 1874.² She was the daughter of Hon. William Collins Whitney and Flora Payne.¹ She married Almeric Hugh Paget, 1st and last Baron Queenborough, son of General Lord Alfred Henry Paget and Cecilia Wyndham, on 12 November 1895 at New York, U.S.A.^G.¹ She died on 22 November 1916 at age 42 at Claremont House, Esher, Surrey, England^G.¹ She was buried at Hertingfordbury, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹
     From 12 November 1895, her married name became Paget.¹

     Hon. William Collins Whitney was born on 5 July 1841 at Conway, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.² He was the son of General James S. Whitney and Laurinda Collins.² He married, firstly, Flora Payne, daughter of Hon. Henry B. Payne.² He married, secondly, Edith May Randolph.² He died on 2 February 1904 at age 62.² He was buried at The Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, New York City, New York, U.S.A.^G.²
     He graduated from Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut, U.S.A.^G, in 1863.² He was educated at Harvard Law School, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.² He was a practising lawyer at New York City, New York, U.S.A.^G.² He was corporation counsel for New York City between 1875 and 1882 at New York City, New York, U.S.A.^G.² He held the office of Secretary of the U.S. Navy between 1885 and 1889.^1,2

     Flora Payne is the daughter of Hon. Henry B. Payne.¹ She married Hon. William Collins Whitney, son of General James S. Whitney and Laurinda Collins.²
     Her married name became Whitney.²

     Edith Miller was the daughter of William Starr Miller and Edith Caroline Warren.¹ She married Almeric Hugh Paget, 1st and last Baron Queenborough, son of General Lord Alfred Henry Paget and Cecilia Wyndham, on 19 July 1921 at New York, U.S.A.^G.¹ She died in January 1933.²
     After her marriage, Edith Miller was styled as Baroness Queenborough on 19 July 1921. From 19 July 1921, her married name became Paget.¹

     Uta von Passau was born circa 1085.¹ She was the daughter of Ulrich Burggraf von Passau Graf von Finningen, Graf im Isengau and Adelheid von Megling-Frontenhausen.¹ She married Engelbert II von Sponheim Markgraf von Istria und Verona, Herzog von Kärnten, son of Engelbert I von Sponheim Graf im Pustertal und Kraiggau and Hedwig von Eppenstein.¹ She died on 9 February 1150.¹

     Adelheid von Megling-Frontenhausen married Ulrich Burggraf von Passau Graf von Finningen, Graf im Isengau.¹ She died in 1105.¹

     Ulrich Burggraf von Passau Graf von Finningen, Graf im Isengau married Adelheid von Megling-Frontenhausen.¹ He died between 20 February 1099 and 24 February 1099.¹
