     He was in the Madras Civil Service.¹ He was also known as Rowland Winsley Chatfield.²

     Jeanie Duffield was the daughter of John Milner Duffield.¹ She married Colonel Bernard Rowland Ward, son of Lt.-Col. Bernard Edward Ward and Gertrude Maria Chesterfield, on 5 December 1891.¹ She died on 11 April 1925.¹

     Magdalene Frances Phipps was born on 2 December 1942.¹ She is the daughter of Major Mervyn Constantine Sanford Phipps and Joyce Kathleen Goode.¹ She married Fergus Rogers in 1970.¹
     From 1970, her married name became Rogers.¹ She lived in 2003 at 12 Holly Mount, London, England.¹
