     Major Hon. Cyril Myles Brabazon Ponsonby was born on 16 November 1881.² He was the son of Edward Ponsonby, 8th Earl of Bessborough and Blanche Vere Guest.¹ He married Rita Narcissa Longfield, daughter of Lt.-Col. Mountifort John Courtenay Longfield, on 20 July 1911.² He died on 28 September 1915 at age 33 at France^G, killed in action.¹
     Major Hon. Cyril Myles Brabazon Ponsonby usually went by his middle name of Myles.² He fought in the Boer War in 1902.² He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of Ceylon between 1903 and 1910.² He was Aide-de-Camp to HRH The Duke of Connaught between 1906 and 1909.² He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)² He gained the rank of Major in the Grenadier Guards.² He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1915.²

     Rita Narcissa Longfield was born in 1891.² She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Mountifort John Courtenay Longfield.¹ She married, firstly, Major Hon. Cyril Myles Brabazon Ponsonby, son of Edward Ponsonby, 8th Earl of Bessborough and Blanche Vere Guest, on 20 July 1911.³ She married, secondly, Neville Alfred Cyril Flower, son of Arthur Flower and Isabel Margaretta Cokayne Pauncefort-Duncombe, on 1 January 1918.³ She died on 16 September 1977.³
     From 20 July 1911, her married name became Ponsonby. From 1 January 1918, her married name became Flower.

     Lt.-Col. Mountifort John Courtenay Longfield is the son of Mountifort Longfield and Caroline Augusta Courtenay.²
     He lived at Castle Mary, Cloyne, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Neville Alfred Cyril Flower was born in 1884.² He was the son of Arthur Flower and Isabel Margaretta Cokayne Pauncefort-Duncombe.^1,2 He married Rita Narcissa Longfield, daughter of Lt.-Col. Mountifort John Courtenay Longfield, on 1 January 1918.¹ He died on 3 April 1931, as a result of a motor-cycle accident.¹
     He lived at Codicote Mill, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     Constance Flower was born in 1886.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur Flower and Isabel Margaretta Cokayne Pauncefort-Duncombe.¹ She married Joseph Francis Barclay, son of Colonel Henry Albert Barclay and Marion Louisa Hoare, on 15 February 1912.¹
     From 15 February 1912, her married name became Barclay.¹

     Arthur Mountifort Longfield Ponsonby, 11th Earl of Bessborough was born on 11 December 1912.¹ He was the son of Major Hon. Cyril Myles Brabazon Ponsonby and Rita Narcissa Longfield.¹ He married, firstly, Patricia Minnigerode, daughter of Colonel Fitzhugh Lee Minnigerode, on 28 July 1939.¹ He married, secondly, Anne Marie Baronin von Slatin, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Baron Sir Rudolph Carl von Slatin and Alice Ramberg, on 20 September 1956.¹ He and Anne Marie Baronin von Slatin were divorced in 1963.¹ He married, thirdly, Madeleine Lola Margaret Grand, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Laurence Douglas Grand, on 17 December 1963.¹ He died on 5 April 2002 at age 89.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Welsh Guards.² He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1946.² He succeeded as the 11th Baron Ponsonby of Sysonby, co. Leicester [G.B., 1749] on 5 December 1993.¹ He succeeded as the 11th Earl of Bessborough [I., 1739] on 5 December 1993.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baron Duncannon of Bessborough, co. Kilkenny [U.K., 1834] on 5 December 1993.¹ He succeeded as the 12th Viscount Duncannon, of the fort of Duncannon, co. Wexford [I., 1723] on 5 December 1993.¹ He succeeded as the 12th Baron Bessborough, of Bessborough, co. Kilkenny [I., 1721] on 5 December 1993.¹

     Patricia Minnigerode was the daughter of Colonel Fitzhugh Lee Minnigerode.¹ She married Arthur Mountifort Longfield Ponsonby, 11th Earl of Bessborough, son of Major Hon. Cyril Myles Brabazon Ponsonby and Rita Narcissa Longfield, on 28 July 1939.¹ She died on 12 September 1952.¹
     Her married name became Ponsonby.

     Colonel Fitzhugh Lee Minnigerode lived at Virginia, U.S.A.^G.¹
