     Alastair John Morrison, 3rd Baron Margadale was born on 4 April 1958.¹ He is the son of James Ian Morrison, 2nd Baron Margadale and Clare Barclay.¹ He married, firstly, Lady Sophia Louise Sydney Cavendish, daughter of Andrew Robert Buxton Cavendish, 11th Duke of Devonshire and Hon. Deborah Vivien Freeman-Mitford, in 1988.² He and Lady Sophia Louise Sydney Cavendish were divorced.² He married, secondly, Amanda Fuller, daughter of Michael Fuller, on 2 September 1999.³
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Margadale, of Isley, co. Argyll [U.K., 1965] on 6 April 2003.¹

     Hon. Hugh Morrison was born on 7 November 1960.² He is the son of James Ian Morrison, 2nd Baron Margadale and Clare Barclay.² He married, firstly, Jane Jenks, daughter of Bryan Jenks, in 1986.¹ He married, secondly, Mary D. W. (?) on 24 August 2004 at Isle of Islay, Scotland^G.¹

     Evelyn Gladys Isabella Charles was the daughter of John George Charles and Lady Edith Hester Browne.^1,2 She married Francis Arthur Baring, 4th Baron Northbrook, son of Hon. Francis Henry Baring and Lady Grace Elizabeth Boyle, on 30 April 1914.¹ She died on 20 February 1919.¹
     Her married name became Baring.

     Francis John Baring, 5th Baron Northbrook was born on 31 May 1915.¹ He was the son of Francis Arthur Baring, 4th Baron Northbrook and Evelyn Gladys Isabella Charles.¹ He married Rowena Margaret Manning, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir William Henry Manning, on 27 January 1951.² He died on 4 December 1990 at age 75.²
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.² He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1937 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)^2,3 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Northbrook, of Stratton, co. Southampton [U.K., 1866] on 15 December 1947.² He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Baring, of London [G.B., 1793] on 15 December 1947.³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire in 1954.³ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) in 1972.³

     Rowena Margaret Manning is the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir William Henry Manning.¹ She married Francis John Baring, 5th Baron Northbrook, son of Francis Arthur Baring, 4th Baron Northbrook and Evelyn Gladys Isabella Charles, on 27 January 1951.¹
     After her marriage, Rowena Margaret Manning was styled as Baroness Northbrook on 27 January 1951. From 27 January 1951, her married name became Baring.

     Brig.-Gen. Sir William Henry Manning was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.)¹

     Francis Thomas Baring, 6th Baron Northbrook was born on 21 February 1954.¹ He is the son of Francis John Baring, 5th Baron Northbrook and Rowena Margaret Manning.¹ He married Amelia Sarah Elizabeth Taylor, daughter of Dr. Reginald David Taylor, on 27 June 1987.^1,2 He and Amelia Sarah Elizabeth Taylor were divorced circa 2005.³
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Bristol University, Bristol, England^G, in 1976 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Baring, of London [G.B., 1793] on 4 December 1990.⁴ He succeeded as the 6th Baron Northbrook, of Stratton, co. Southampton [U.K., 1866] on 4 December 1990.¹ He was an investment manager for Smith & Williamson Securities between 1993 and 1995.² He held the office of Elected Member of the House of Lords in 1999.² He held the office of Opposition Whip between 1999 and 2000.²

     Hon. Laura Anne Baring was born on 12 June 1952.¹ She is the daughter of Francis John Baring, 5th Baron Northbrook and Rowena Margaret Manning.¹ She married Ewen Cameron Stewart Macpherson, son of Brigadier George Philip Stewart Macpherson and Elizabeth Margaret Cameron Smail, on 15 May 1982.¹
     From 15 May 1982, her married name became Macpherson.¹ She lived in 2003 at The Old Rectory, Aston Sandford, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Hon. Alexandra Grace Baring was born on 4 February 1957.¹ She is the daughter of Francis John Baring, 5th Baron Northbrook and Rowena Margaret Manning.¹ She married Philip Strone Stewart Macpherson, son of Brigadier George Philip Stewart Macpherson and Elizabeth Margaret Cameron Smail, in 1981.¹
     From 1981, her married name became Macpherson.¹ She lived in 2003 at Armsworth Park House, Old Alresford, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Hon. Anne Baring was born on 13 February 1917.¹ She was the daughter of Francis Arthur Baring, 4th Baron Northbrook and Evelyn Gladys Isabella Charles.¹ She died on 10 October 2006 at age 89.²
     She lived in 2003 at Westwood, West Meon, Petersfield, Hampshire, England^G.¹
