     Lt. Hon. David Hugh Joicey was born on 21 April 1922.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hugh Edward Joicey, 3rd Baron Joicey and Lady Joan Katherine Lambton.² He died on 25 September 1943 at age 21 at Salerno, Italy^G, from wounds received in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Michael Edward Joicey, 4th Baron Joicey was born on 28 February 1925.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hugh Edward Joicey, 3rd Baron Joicey and Lady Joan Katherine Lambton.² He married Elisabeth Marion Leslie-Melville, daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. Ian Leslie-Melville and Charlotte Isabel Stirling, on 27 March 1952.¹ He died in 1993.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Joicey, of Chester-le-Street, co. Durham [U.K., 1906] on 14 October 1966.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Joicey, of Chester-le-Street, co. Durham [U.K., 1893] on 14 October 1966.¹

     Elisabeth Marion Leslie-Melville was born on 9 April 1928.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. Ian Leslie-Melville and Charlotte Isabel Stirling.^2,1 She married Michael Edward Joicey, 4th Baron Joicey, son of Lt.-Col. Hugh Edward Joicey, 3rd Baron Joicey and Lady Joan Katherine Lambton, on 27 March 1952.² She died on 25 January 2003 at age 74.²
     Her married name became Joicey. After her marriage, Elisabeth Marion Leslie-Melville was styled as Baroness Joicey on 14 October 1966.

     James Edward Monaghan married Katherine Mary Ward, daughter of John Hamilton Ward and Marcia Townsend, in 1911.¹

     Agnes Harriet Frances Mary Thompson is the daughter of Reverend William Moffat Drew Thompson and Vida Fairrie Sloan.² She married James Michael Joicey, 5th Baron Joicey, son of Michael Edward Joicey, 4th Baron Joicey and Elisabeth Marion Leslie-Melville, on 16 June 1984.¹
     Agnes Harriet Frances Mary Thompson usually went by her middle name of Harriet.¹ From 16 June 1984, her married name became Joicey. After her marriage, Agnes Harriet Frances Mary Thompson was styled as Baroness Joicey in 1993. She held the office of High Sheriff of Northumberland between 2019 and 2020.³

     Reverend William Moffat Drew Thompson married Vida Fairrie Sloan. He died on 29 June 2009 at Beech House, Etal, Northumberland, England.
