     Captain Alexander Gordon Russell was born on 11 July 1854.¹ He was the son of General Lord Sir Alexander George Russell and Anne Emily Worsley-Holmes.¹ He married Ella Maude Commerell, daughter of Admiral Sir John Edmund Commerell, V.C., on 22 October 1885.¹ He died on 4 June 1917 at age 62.
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade.¹

     Ella Maude Commerell was the daughter of Admiral Sir John Edmund Commerell, V.C.¹ She married Captain Alexander Gordon Russell, son of General Lord Sir Alexander George Russell and Anne Emily Worsley-Holmes, on 22 October 1885.¹ She died on 4 September 1887.¹
     Her married name became Russell.

     Sir Leonard Worsley-Holmes, 9th Bt. was born on 16 July 1787.² He was the son of Reverend Sir Henry Worsley-Holmes, 8th Bt. and Hon. Elizabeth Holmes. He married Anne Delgarno, daughter of John Delgarno and Elizabeth Dickonson, on 5 June 1813.² He died on 10 January 1825 at age 37.²
     He lived at Westover, Isle of Wight, England.³ He gained the title of 9th Baronet Worsley.      Admiral Sir John Edmund Commerell, V.C. was born on 13 January 1829 at Grosvenor Square, London, England^G.² He died on 21 May 1901 at age 72 at Hyde Park, London, England^G.² He was buried at Cheriton Road Cemetery, Folkestone, Kent, England^G.²
     He gained the rank of Commander in 1854 in the Royal Navy.³ He fought in the Crimean War.³ He was awarded the Victoria Cross (V.C.) on 24 February 1857, for his actions on 11 October 1855.^1,3 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)¹ He gained the rank of Admiral of the Fleet in 1900.³

     Ella Maude Emily Russell was born on 9 July 1886.¹ She was the daughter of Captain Alexander Gordon Russell and Ella Maude Commerell.¹ She married Thomas Bowman on 1 February 1917.¹ She died on 26 March 1933 at age 46.¹

     Major Leonard George Russell was born on 6 June 1858.¹ He was the son of General Lord Sir Alexander George Russell and Anne Emily Worsley-Holmes.¹ He married Agnes Harriet Lee, daughter of Reverend Godfrey Bolles Lee, on 8 April 1890.¹ He died on 7 April 1946 at age 87, as a result of an accident.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Rifle Brigade.¹
