     Robert Keith Rous, 6th Earl of Stradbroke was born on 25 March 1937.1 He is the son of William Keith Rous, 5th Earl of Stradbroke and Pamela Catherine Mabell Kay-Shuttleworth.2 He married, firstly, Dawn Antoinette Beverley, daughter of Thomas Edward Beverley, on 3 September 1960.1 He and Dawn Antoinette Beverley were divorced in 1976.1 He married, secondly, Roseanna Mary Blanche Reitman, daughter of Francis Reitman and Susan Diana Mary Vernon, in 1977.2
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Stradbroke, co. Suffolk [U.K., 1821] on 18 July 1983.2 He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Rous, of Henham Hall [E., 1660] on 18 July 1983.2 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Rous of Dennington, co. Suffolk [G.B., 1796] on 18 July 1983.2 He succeeded as the 6th Viscount Dunwich, co. Suffolk [U.K., 1821] on 18 July 1983.2 He lived in 2000 at Mount Fyans Station Darlington, Australia.3
