     He was Superintendant of Indian Government Telegraphs.¹

     Henrietta Georgiana Hurst was the daughter of Captain William Probyn Hurst.¹ She married, firstly, Henry Ross Rich, son of Henry George William Rich and Mary Ross, on 20 June 1884.¹ She married, secondly, George Walter Kirkby, son of Reverend E. E. W. Kirkby, on 27 April 1907.¹ She died on 28 September 1943.¹
     From 20 June 1884, her married name became Rich.¹ From 27 April 1907, her married name became Kirkby.¹

     George Walter Kirkby is the son of Reverend E. E. W. Kirkby.¹ He married Henrietta Georgiana Hurst, daughter of Captain William Probyn Hurst, on 27 April 1907.¹

     Evelyn Essex Mary Ross Rich is the daughter of Henry Ross Rich and Henrietta Georgiana Hurst.¹ She married Hugh Lenox, son of George C. L. Lenox, on 17 October 1906.¹
     From 17 October 1906, her married name became Lenox.¹

     Hugh Lenox is the son of George C. L. Lenox.¹ He married Evelyn Essex Mary Ross Rich, daughter of Henry Ross Rich and Henrietta Georgiana Hurst, on 17 October 1906.¹

     George C. L. Lenox lived at Ashstead, Surrey, England.¹

     Zoe Dorothea Shirley Rich is the daughter of Henry Ross Rich and Henrietta Georgiana Hurst.¹ She married Reginald Simon Creagh, son of Major Simon Creagh.¹
     Her married name became Creagh.¹

     Reginald Simon Creagh was the son of Major Simon Creagh.¹ He married Zoe Dorothea Shirley Rich, daughter of Henry Ross Rich and Henrietta Georgiana Hurst.¹ He died on 5 December 1917, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the The Rifle Brigade.¹ He gained the rank of First World War.¹
