     Charles Young Simpson was born on 13 May 1865.¹ He was the son of John Bell Simpson and Annie Elizabeth Thomlinson.¹ He married Aileen O’Connor, daughter of Charles Yelverton O’Connor, in 1895.¹ He died on 2 November 1926 at age 61.¹

     Aileen O’Connor was the daughter of Charles Yelverton O’Connor.¹ She married Charles Young Simpson, son of John Bell Simpson and Annie Elizabeth Thomlinson, in 1895.¹ She died on 28 October 1955.¹
     From 1895, her married name became Simpson.¹
