He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1899 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Perthshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Perthshire.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Scottish Horse Yeomanry.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (F.R.I.C.S.)1 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1925.1 He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Ramsay, of Bamff, co. Perth [N.S., 1666] on 17 February 1925.1

He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.2 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Gordon Highlanders.2 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the South Africa Engineering Corps.2 He was a mining engineer.2 He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Ramsay, of Bamff, co. Perth [N.S., 1666] on 14 March 1959.1 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.3
