     Sir William Henry Porter, 2nd Bt. was born on 23 August 1862.¹ He was the son of Sir George Hornidge Porter, 1st Bt. and Julia Bond.¹ He married Mary Bousfield Steains, daughter of James Steains, on 19 June 1902.¹ He died on 27 June 1935 at age 72.¹
     He graduated from Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Royal Irish Regiment.¹ He was a practising barrister-at-law.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 16th Middlesex (London Irish.)¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Porter, of Frimley, co. Surrey [U.K., 1889] on 16 June 1895.¹ He was with the H.Q.C.D. Special Constabulary between 1915 and 1919.¹

     Sir George Swinburne Porter, 3rd Bt. was born on 14 December 1908.¹ He was the son of Sir William Henry Porter, 2nd Bt. and Mary Bousfield Steains.¹ He died on 8 February 1974 at age 65.²
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Porter, of Frimley, co. Surrey [U.K., 1889] on 27 June 1935.¹ On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.²

     William Henry Porter was born on 5 March 1791.¹ He was the son of William Porter and Susanna Bacon.^1,2 He married Jane Hornidge, daughter of Cuthbert Hornidge, in 1816.¹ He died in April 1861 at age 70.¹
