     Frances Jessie Gilchrist Bell was born on 28 February 1963.¹ She is the daughter of Nigel Mortimer Gilchrist Bell and Nancy Sawtell.¹

     Esme Muriel Mortimer Pechell was the daughter of William Mortimer Charles Pechell and Emily Louisa Barton.¹ She died on 21 August 1968, unmarried.¹

     Major Edward Rodney Cecil Pechell was born on 26 July 1837.¹ He was the son of Captain Samuel George Pechell and Caroline Thoyts.¹ He married Alicia Alleyne Rothwell, daughter of Reverend John Rothwell, on 7 September 1859.¹ He died on 11 November 1880 at age 43.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 10th Light Infantry.¹

     Alicia Alleyne Rothwell was the daughter of Reverend John Rothwell.¹ She married, firstly, Major Edward Rodney Cecil Pechell, son of Captain Samuel George Pechell and Caroline Thoyts, on 7 September 1859.¹ She married, secondly, Edward Litton Low on 10 October 1882.¹ She died in 1891.¹
     From 7 September 1859, her married name became Pechell.¹ From 10 October 1882, her married name became Low.¹
